I am a music composer, located in South India.

I am planning to set up my home recording studio and I am trying for financial assistance for the same. I would like to know if there are any financial organisations which provide loans for musicians or people in the entertainment/media industry, where they will give time for the first 18 months or so, to establish and then have to start repaying the loan with minimal interest rate. I am not in a position to take a loan from a bank as I can’t afford to pay back the money from the first month itself. Please let me know about it.

There really arent that many businesses devoted to this, but my advice is to get your name out there, theres rich people that might invest.. (if your start your own record label that is)

it would be a lot of work.

my best advice is start small, get your stuff listened to, then start doing some gigs and selling cd’s
