For all those help dot com-ers out there who know me, I wanted to let you know how my first day of camp was.
Fabulous. I made a few friends wich was great. The first course I had was .. well .. we talk about campaigning and stuff like that. What polotitians go through. The second was Creative Writing. Some of you may have read some of my writings that I have posted on here recently. That was amazing. My only issue with it is that my wrist couldn’t handle so much writing. (And if you know me REALLY well, then you know why. But I have arthritis.) But it was so amazing to write whatever I wanted to write about, with no teachers criticizing my style. The third course was about writing articles. We get to write articles for the campus newspaper in that class. (This is a camp for grades 4-9 located at the local college.) And then the third one, cartooning. It was OK, and really fun…although she didn’t let you cartoon in your style. She tought you how to draw, and you had to draw THAT way. Which really sucked. Even one of my friends who has been cartooning for a while said ‘Everybody cartoons in their own style. Nobody does it the same.’
I’m going back there again tomorrow. It’s so tiring, though. And it’s 5 days a week for three weeks. I don’t know if my body can handle it…
Though I’m having so much fun!!!!
