i can’t watch any videos on the computer..i tried youtube

and where the video should be just stays as an empty space..and its not only youtube its every site that has videos what do i do to fix it?? i tried getting a new version of adobe 9.0 but when i go to download it the box thats supposed to pop up so you can clik instal doesnt pop up what do i do??? PLEASE HELP ME I REALLIE NEED TO FIX THIS ASAP!! PLEASE ANYTHING WILL HELP!! CUZ I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO TO FIX IT

I have the same exact problem and it is driving me crazy I cant watch nothing ion you tube or watch my things for class
