Er… a DX 9.0c graphics adapter (or any other graphics adapter for that matter) is a piece of hardware. And I haven’t figured out how to download hardware yet.

On the other hand, if you just want to update to the latest DirectX release you can get that straight from microsoft.com .

HELP!! I got The Sims 2 Double Deluxe for PC. I have Windows XP. I downloaded Directx 9.0c. I checked DxDiag and it confirmed I have DirectX 9.0c, but the “failed to find DirectX 9.0c,” message keeps popping up. HELP ME!!!! I really want to play this game. I’m stupid with computers, I don’t know how to check video cards etc. etc. Please answer in detail!

dont worry just go on i> small>(email removed) /small> /i> and it will say download 9.0c then u do it then u can play
