life help: I’m a paraplegic w/ chronic pain. - Help.com

I’m a paraplegic w/ chronic pain.

I have three children, ages 8,9 and 17. My life has been strugling with a drug dependancy for a year and a half. A week from last Sunday she emptied what little money we had left, stole some of my medications along with most of our valuables and hasn’t been seen since. I haven’t any family near. I’m having difficulty dealing with my part time job and my responcabilities as a parent. I’m doing my best.

Oh my.. I feel so selfish now for being so distraught after breaking off my 6 year relationship. I’m so sorry for you, but if she did that to you in your condition you need to get in touch with some kind of family member that’s always been there for you. I think that’s the best bet.

then take what comfort you can from that…

if she hasnt been seen, or you havnt heard nor seen here, then contact the police and file a missing persons report, given here personal struggles i think that would be a good idea.

Keep talking. Venting is very important in times like these.

Take comfort in this. You are doing everything you can. youve followed the right procedure. You’re doing good considering all this. try and keep it all together. Bad things happen to good people, thats aweful.

You can apply for freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription, online tuition or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well . List of companies(with websites) offering genuine work at home jobs is available at http://www.pcworkathome.net . Many of these companies have been in business for several years.

You can also try your luck at online charities like Modest Needs, people may send donations, if your requirement is genuine. From http://www.laodn.org/

All is not lost.

You have within you inner strength. Most of all, you have love all around you. From your 3 children, to these friends who have posted online, to you family members.

Find them. They will help you most. If not, get a neighbour, your nearest community, a familiar face at your neighbourhood…talk about the solution you need to reach your closest relatives, even though they are 5 hours away.

You WILL get through this :)
