I’m sorry, but I think that was in very poor taste.

dear death, you should get good grades anyway. But, I’m assuming, anything having to do with USAF requires very good grades. You can do it!

Get good grades, stay out of trouble with the law etc, and make sure that you are in top physical shape. If available, when in High School look into taking a EMS 1st Responder course. That should give you a pretty good head start.

EMS 1st Responder is the entry level EMS (Emergency Medical Services) Certification level. Commonly most are volunteers for fire department based EMS Squads. In my area they offer it as an elective in H.S. for 10,11, and 12 grades. I know to actually serve on a EMS service you have to be 18 but you can take the course anytime after you turn 16. It will give you the basic patient care skills and get you used to all of the EMS acronyms and standards. The name is different in many states. The best way to find a course is to either check with your local ambulance service or a community college, they can point you in the right direction. The course is a breeze and is pretty fun to take.

my boyfriend is going into pj in august. and hes been training for a long time. know that when you sign up for the airforce they WILL NOT i repeat WILL NOT send you right to indoc. my boyfriend initially signed up thinking he was going to indoc right away, and hes been in for almost 3 years now doing PMEL. which is measuring stuff and completely non related to pj. he has been training like hell on his off time, to get the scores and get ready for this intense school. No matter what the recruiter tells you….they will not send you to indoc right away. please know that before you get yourself into this.
