I need some artist and song help!

I have been hearing this song through the retail radio but I cannot find who it is.

The song sounds like Coldplay’s Chris Martin on vocals. It has a great guitar riff near the end of the song.

Does anyone know who it is?

I can never hear the lyrics but others looking for the same song say it is something along the line of “running out of time” however it is not anything that I have googled. (not: Simple Plan, HOT HOT Heat, Muse)

The big thing is that it sounds almost exactly like Chris Martin.
