I have actually brought this up to mods and admin. It was also in a post I wrote about trolls, because I think it would cut down on the number significantly.
Yes and it’s so easy and fast to verify your account - it’s not like we’d be turning away any people in desperate need of fast help, because it’s so easy and fast.

Because we have been through pain ourselves and want it to not all of been in vain.

Don’t mind me. After going through the modQ every day and seeing how most people really are, you lose a bit of the compassion and tollernace. It’s not only unverified one time users that troll the site. If I was to start IP banning all the trolls, we’d lose quite a few of the regulars as well.

But why would a long term user troll? I’ve only been here about a week and I already know you mods can see who’s really behind the anon accounts, and multiple accounts. Why would a longtime user do such a stupid thing? They HAD to know they’d get caught. :/

Wow, you can look at stats too. Take the time to look into my posts too to see if I ever tried to help anybody, maybe you’ll see that I at least I’ve tried! You have my “blessing” for that. And there are some (like me) that have to work (or study) for a leaving.
I’m currently in my office, at working hours, posting this stuff when I should be working really, so no need to try and teach me lessons regarding the number of posts I do, or not do. Maybe you can also see that I’ve never started a thread, so at least I can’t be accused of “trolling”.

It must be a natural law of internet forums that any post declared to be a user’s “last” absolutely won’t be.
Capman since you don’t spend too much time here, which means you don’t know many of us at all, it is clear you misunderstood Anthrax. Most users who have been around a while understand what he is saying, because they have spent time on posts with him. He is a good mod.
Ha ha - only in Help.com could you get people fighting about how much they have helped. Maybe we should make a rule that people can only kill themself on a Tuesday for our convenience. Or perhaps the cutters could use blunt objects for a few days to give us a help.com holiday. I’m sure I got sucked into some kind of fake post a few hours ago - but I dont care - I dont come here to fix the big picture - just take part in a little bit of it. This place still rocks, trolls, anons the lot. If they werent there we’d probably all be a lot less talkative and a lot more boring. - Mas
