I voted other. I think the main issue is privacy (the Bill of Rights has been trashed under Bush). The government doesn’t have a right to conduct surveillance on law-abiding citizens, nor to hold citizens indefinitely without charging them with a crime and letting them have an attorney. The 800 lb. gorilla in the room is implementation of the RFID chip into money and products, which will enable government and business to track us like an endangered species, which of course we are. Obama is against RFID, McCain is for it in the name of security. The right-wingers will also be pro-business when it comes to collecting and patenting individuals’ genetic material (see Michael Crighton’s “Next”).

Give the Republicans another chance and they’ll start confiscating our testicles and ovaries “for our protection”.
