I pay monthly myself and I think it is a good idea to let others know about it too :)

£8 a month can provide six hungry children with nourishing school dinners to help them concentrate on their education. That’s food for thought.

£20 a month can keep three children orphaned by AIDS properly fed, day in and day out.

£40 a month can provide ongoing training for one teacher – a vital future investment for any poor community.

I know this post might be random but poverty goes on in the world and I think we should work together to help those in need.

It is a wonderful thing to help others who are less fortunate than ourselves.

Jesus said it is better to give than to receive.

And I think he meant that there is great blessing in giving, because there is. I know you must feel very blessed indeed, to be able to share with these people, or you wouldn’t have made the post.

And as much of a blessing as it is on the other end, your end is def. not without reward.

May God multiply your seed, 100 fold, so that you will have more to give.

That’s very thoughtful of your spiritedsoul. The problem that arises when it comes to charities is that there are so many of them and you can’t really donate to them all because you need to run your own life as well. However, I think if everyone in the world who could, would just donate a bit to any charity, the world would be a better place.

It’s good that you have provided us with information about Oxfam though instead of just telling people to donate like some do. Thank you :)

well, loads of charities are better than none at all. but i prefer to donate to famous popular ones then i know its not a scam.

NSPCC and hopefully in the future, I want to start donating money to help the domestic violence victims. They are two things that I am really concerned about. I don’t know why they just hit a nerve whenever I hear about them.
