i agree that this is a problem.

help.com could create a way for us to remove personally identifiable information.

I thought help.com did not show your email address, only the username, so the email address would not show results in google?

I know my typing my username shows results, which is a reason not to use a name that can be linked to yourself if you do not want to be identified..

There is always a way around the filter lol

but i guess they didnt think about why there is a filter did they?

duude in my profile it saize AKA my name that I use as my email address

as my son says there is no system a hacker can’t get into.

yes it is unwise to hand out your e-mail to general public.
they are not all really nice like me.

when you update the name on your profile, it shows your old username.. my old username happened to be my e-mail address. . I don’t know how to get rid of it. So now when ever my email address is typed into google, you can see my help profile

why not just change one of them.

If you change your name so that it no longer is the same as the beginning of your email you should not see your posts pop up on google as often. This whole site is searchable through google, however. As this is a public site, there is little we can do to keep things privet.
