the world wide web is anon and world wide, but different time zones really do impact on area activity, so i ask would anyone with the know-how, rss feeds, web hosting, php or css, would you be willing to HELP set up an ‘independant’ (ie.not endorsed by cnet or cbs) site similar in vein to this without obviously ripping it off? aimed at european people?
i kinda think we need it, considering how much we are different to our US (western) contemporaries.
sorry this is written in english, i would post in any other language, but i personally would not be so politely un-offensive and correct about it. sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!
anyway…
would you be willing/able to help in such a venture?!?

ehhh, I don’t see that happening, and one of the cool things is the fact that people from all around come here, not just Europeans or Americans or Canadians.

‘Sides, you’d have a ***** of a time making a site as good as this is without ripping it off, and you’d have a hard time gathering a community, and getting the word out so people actually come to get help, rather then staying all day and having nothing happen.

i didn’t say it would be easy, or even work, but it may be worth doing if anyone was interested. because if i asked the owners of help to do similar, do you think they would?! omfg NO! lol
they would say .com was worldwide, when we all know (outside of the US) it isn’t.
there is nothing wrong with ‘local’ even if it is on the ‘global village’.
