Hi. First off, let’s dispense with the acronyms and jargon.
There, feel better?

Seems to me that research and use may be two different things. What and where do consider good universities? Or do you refer to universes? (Joking) There are several “good” universities depending on what course of study and final deployment you want.
Please, elucidate, define.
