Don’t know where to look for help.

My sister-in-law has 4 children and is about to be homeless thanks to a loser ex who she is still living with who stopped paying the mortgage. She had a liver transplant less than a year ago and another major surgery 6 months ago. She had been a dog groomer her whole life and knows nothing else. Due to her new liver she now can’t have any contact with animals. I know there are programs that help people in her situation but don’t know where to look. Would greatly appreciate any ideas.

why doesnt she apply for disability… it is something to help… they go by her past work history.. and her situation that she is in now… she will also get money for each child as well until they reach a certain age..

i would call a lawyer… they might be able to help out.. search the phone book in which you live.. look for lawyers that deal with foreclosure…

also.. she needs to get rid of that loser.. seriously..

Thanks will try that. Very true about her ex. He used to be a good guy but when she got sick about 7 years ago and the Dr. said she would die he started drinking and cheating but she was pretty much bed-ridden and he took care of the kids as she was on huge amounts of morphine.

I agree that she can probably apply for benefits being unable to work, why doesnt she try home work to help pay the bills, or just move out to a friends for a while, till she gets herself sorted.
