For those of you who have read all three books of the trilogy “The Deed of Paksenarrion.”

These three books are incredible, I’ll admit. There were, however, some parts that disturbed or depressed me and many that made me cry. I disliked the ending of the second book when you had no idea where she was.
The trilogy as a whole is amazing, but having finished it a am extremely depressed and find myself so badly longing for more that I cannot help from crying. I know the this book is meant to show the struggles of life and pulling through in the end, but I still feel empty inside and although the ending is happy, the - difficulties - she goes through are disturbing and painful to read. When I heard of the two other books, “Surrender None” and “Liar’s Oath,” I was overjoyed because I thought they were about the same character. When I found they were not, I was even more depressed than before. I know it sounds silly to get so emotional over a book but I feel as if I would have felt more at rest if she died in the end, hopefully of old age. The last sentence leaves me wanting more, as any book in a series should, but there is no more left to read. I have come to love Paksenarrion through her travels and now I really miss her and cannot stop thinking about the various joyful and not-so-joyful events depicted in the book.
Your thoughts on this please?
