Should I pursue this?

For the past year and a half I have liked this guy…he’s really great, we have a lot in common, the whole works. He’s acted like he’s liked me on and off for the past year and a half, which got pretty frustrating. Towards the end of the school year, we got friendly again but we’ve both been really busy this summer and recently saw each other again. He was really nice to me, was flirting with me (it seemed) and then we were texting each other for hours. I think that previously neither one of us knew what we wanted but now we’re getting older and more mature. Does it seem like he likes me?? What should I do now— just ride this wave or take action?? I’m in the middle of the fork of “go for him” or “wait to see what he does”–thoughts, suggestions?? Thanks!

Go for it I say! Maybe he’s too shy to make the first move?

+1 for Chameleon, go for it! Why take the chance that he will never do anything and you’ll miss out! :|

He probably does like you but he also probably has a lot on his plate. I say you should ask him out for ice cream & a movie (Batman, hmm?), dress cute, and see what goes on from there.

Thanks!! He does have a lot going on and hasn’t really dated much so I think it’s awkward for him. The ice cream/Batman idea is cute. Any other light date suggestions??

id ask him out. I’d just do a movie and maybe stop somewhere. Nothing heavy just in case he thinks you’re just out as “friends.” Remember, some guys can be slow at this.

I’m glad to get other people’s input…I guess I’ll just ask him out and hope for the best!! Is there anything I can do to make him less “slow” about this??

You make the first move. You can peck him on the cheek or lips OR just can just grab his hand.
