Depends on the lab, but not more than a day or so for a routine test.
But then, if you can’t remember what/how much you were taking without resorting to a test, it might be time to slow down.

I did not say that I smoke one joint with a friend of mine on the 4th of July I have not smoked in 15 years and then got asked to take on drug test on the 10th so now I am scared. I do not do drugs.

That is what my friend said but I just keep thinking about it because I have no heard anyhting I have spoken with that lady from the state a few times since then and she has not said anyhting about it, my friend said that they would do the as an emergency since hter are kids invovled they would not have let me go if I tested positive. I just wish Iknew the results for sure but I certainly don’t want to ask “Did I pass my drug test?”
What is CPS ? Mines for a job, Im as clean as it gets, but I want to hurry up and get them.

I hope youare right but I can’t help but still worry because somepeopl are saying that it can take up to a week to get the results back.
Shouldn’t take too long. About a week or so usually. Have you tried calling them to see what is going on.

no because I don’t want to raise any red flags but I am very worried I am going to test poitive and I can’t stop thinking about it. I have not smoked pot in years and the first time I do six days later I have to take a drug test. I am not a drug addict by any strentch of the imagination and I do not want these people think I am.
Ok I understand the situation alittle better. Don’t call just let them call you. I am not sure how long it takes for pot to go out the body and not get caught on a test but 6 days seems like alot of time. If it doesn come back tell them you were around people who did it. They may retests.

I hope so because as I said it was a mistake and I could believe when they said I had to test I have NEVER taken a drug test in my life and now to sitting at 38 worring about whether or not I am going to get in trouble for smoking pot is crazy to me I just wish I knew how long it was going to take to get the results back! So that I can breath again and move on with my life having learned a big lesson!

Worry is going to change nothing. If for some reason it does come back positive expalin to them what happened. All worry is going to do is stress you out and get you sick. Don’t do that to yourself.
if you just smoked one joint fo regular weed not hydroponic it should only take about 5 days if that. It does depend on your metabolism, diet, and how fat you are. THC clings to fat so the more fat you have the longer it takes to get out of your body.

well first off it takes 30 days to get weedm out of your system if a regular smoker. If very rare about a week, less if you slam water and sweat a lot. as for the lab time i want to know also.

I am in a similar situation. I did a few small bumps of coke (it was a stupid move, I have not touched a drug in so long) about 18 days before taking a test on Wednesday. It is Friday and I have not heard anything. This is a pre-employment test. I took 2 at home test and they both came back negative. I learned my lesson. No more “just a little” talk for me. I am done!!!

I took a took a home test on the 20/21st and sent it in (over the counter test from target), I took the real test with quest monday the 27th. I finally (Thursday 30th) received the results of the at home test that tested positive Thc 26ng/ml. 8 days later I went to quest and monday (27th) took the test at quest and have not heard anything almost 5 days later. Is it safe to say I’m in the clear or is it too early to tell? They never asked me about my prescribed medications either, which I told them (quest) about and they didn’t even care (as in, I was told if it test positive for that drug then they would call me and then I can provide proof), my question generaly is, now that it’s friday (5 days after taking official test at quest lab), should I still be worrying about hearing from someone, or should i continue to worry? Thanks for your help and please, I don’t need a lecture or joke about not doing it, I can decide that for myself. Thanks!

I smoked three hits from a bong on sat night. Tuesday I was informed I had a random UA. I panicked and went and bought two home tests, one I took tuesday afternoon and it was negative. Then again on Wed. morning and it was also negative. I took the real one Wed. And havent heard anything yet. Its now Friday night. This is for probation. No calls are a good sign.

Yall are worried o.o i smoked a chain of blunts id say about 12 of good high levels of thc , two days later random drug screen, but i didnt eat much the day of the drug screen and was drinkin alot of fluids, did not know i had a test, i took it and passed o.o n im a day to day smoker!
