im playing my flute tommorrow in an event at schol,

i have done every year for 4 years, i do not get nervouse about performing, well not much anyway, however with being in france i have not had time to practice my piece, i can just about play it through with afew mistakes but i have only played it through without stopping once, does anyone have any advice?

just go for it. the adrenaline rush you’ll get will help you. if you make a mistake, play through it. :)

I used to play flute (not for a quite a while now…!) but know what you mean. Once the pressure is on (albeit in a good way), you’ll just find your stride and go with it. And yeah, like sheroo said, just play thro any mistakes, i guarantee most of the listeners won’t even know! Look confident and everyone else will go with it. Everyone listening to a live musical performance takes their hat off to the the performer for having the skill and guts to do it, enjoy it and have fun! :)
