Ergonomic Keyboard

Due to the amount of typing I do, I am in the market for an ergonomic keyboard. I went down to some stores today and tried out a lot of keyboards, and the one that felt most natural was the Logitech Wave keyboard, which has normal-size keys and a wave in the keyboard that fits your hands. But maybe you just need to get used to the more extreme-looking keyboards like the Microsoft Natural keyboard, and then they will be better for your hands. Has anyone bought an ergonomic keyboard? What are your recommendations or words of warning?

I don’t know about the expensive keyboards, but I do know that a study just published in the Netherlands (by a university with an excellent reputation) has shown that RSI is not caused by extensive computer use. Some of the indicator that increased the chances of getting RSI they did find were doing the same thing for hours and hours, having a job that doesn’t satisfy you and not feeling happy in general. So buy the ergonomic keyboard (it will probably prevent other things than RSI as well, but make sure you stimulate your brain and soul as well!

I was using the Microsoft Comfort Keyboard and it worked fine, real easy to type with. Now I just bought the Natural Ergonomic keyboard 4000 this one looks extreme but it works very well for me. I like the way it makes my hands curve up and my wrists sit well on the cushions. Hope this helps :-)

Well I don’t have an ergonomic keyboard, but I do have a gaming keyboard and I find it very comfortable. It’s the Saitek Eclipse II. $50 bucks I think. Comes with a wrist rest and is backlit so you can type at night. It is corded though.
