Love help: I am a 42 year old mother of three and have two grand children. - Help.com

Editors:

I am a 42 year old mother of three and have two grand children.

I was married for 20 years and divorced now for 3 years. Two of my children are grown and on their own I have an 8 year old son at home. Up till the last 2 years or so dog grooming has proved to be a great way to support my family, but, with inflation and gas prices this is no longer so. It has become increasingly harder to pay all of my bills and take care of my son. This is the first time I have not been able to pay my rent among other bills. I am at the end of my rope. I do not know what to do anymore. I am open to all advice, anything would be greatly appreciated.

I am not afraid of hard work and I love learning new things

I know it is probably going to be a pain but try janitorial jobs. They usually pay around ten dollars an hour. Hope I helped you.

Thank you. I am currently looking for any type of employment. The job market is really tuff. The competition for even fast food jobs is unreal. I also have to have something that works with my sons schedual. I tried working two jobs but the cost of a babysitter is making finding a second job that pays enough to come out ahead very diffcult. I have not given up, yet

I too have been doing surveys but those that are not scams pay little or no money, most of them let you earn points and you can use them to get gift cards.

Sooner or later people are going to have to accept that high fuel prices will affect what you have to charge.
Talk with your customers and se if you can sqeeze a little extra from it.

You can apply for freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription, online tuition or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well . List of companies(with websites) offering genuine work at home jobs is available at http://www.pcworkathome.net . Many of these companies have been in business for several years

You can also try your luck at online charities like Modest Needs, people may send donations, if your requirement is genuine. From http://www.laodn.org/
