i got my belly button pierced a year ago this month and so far i havent really had any major problems with it.

I keep it clena and changed my ring about once a month just so i wasnt pulling on the ring or stretching the whole around to much. Well i went to clean my ring before bed and my ring snapped right through my piercing. And when i cleaned it in the morning it looked fine, but there was the ring right in my hand and my hole is open with to peaks on the side, does anyone know why this happened? my body has never rejected any piercing before so i dont think its rejection. When can i get it repierced safely?

wait at least a year if you’ve ripped through your skin

when you get it redone, don’t change it for about 6 months from the original ring. just twist it in circles and a little up and down.

AND ONLY STERLING SILVER AND SURGICAL STEEL RINGS! the ones that you buy at hot topic or at claires are NOT high enough quality
