Money help: I have a Masters degree in Biomedical research but have not been able to find decent work for over a year now. - Help.com

I have a Masters degree in Biomedical research but have not been able to find decent work for over a year now.

I am working two jobs, mainly tutoring in science at a community college but it is definitely not enough to pay the bills. I also have over $25,000 in student loans which need to be repaid. I am 28 years old and struggling. Iput 6 years into my education and training but ended up with not much to show for it. I am going to try relocating to a bigger city where the job prospects might be better. I would really appreciate any monetary help that you could offer. I will defintely pay you back once I am back on my feet.

So, how many hours per week are you tutoring? What is your other job?

Your masters trumps my bachelors, but my physics beats your biomed and my 20 months beats your year. So you’ll have to pay me, instead.

well since you are already tutoring at the community college and have some income, why not apply for some of the funding for research for post masters degree. i have been wanting to go get my masters, but all the funding is at the post masters level. they offer in some cases money for tuition, room and board, stipend and occasionally health ins. depending on program, there may or not be repayment obligations that could lead to permanant employment. consider looking for these before u move. good luck.
