Hi…

i’m pretty sure that i’m depressed. I have never told anyone whatsoever…i wanna tell my parents but my mom and i don’t get along all that well and my dad has been realy busy lately. I’ve been like this for the past 2 years my teachers even began to notice throughout the school year. I wanna tell my one friend but i don’t realy know how or where to even begin. Its real just ******* up my life and i can’t stand it anymore.

Just tell your friend how you are feeling the easiest way for you. maybe try keeping it simple.I know it’s hard I’ve been there many times. If you need to talk I’m here for you.

sometimes if you focus on something outside yourself it can take your mind off of your depression. Do you like playing sport? Join a sport…x-country, track, etc. take up a hobby…

I know its pretty depressing but you can always use this site to remove your depression. Believe I was same like you but then I started to help people thru this site and its working wonders for me.. I am also thinking to join some oldage home so taht I can help the old people. You can try doing it as well not necessarily the old age home but anything that may generate a feel of being there for someone. Let me know if you join one and whether it helps you or not

If you tell anyone at your school that you feel you’ve had suicidal thoughts, you’ll be in the mental health clinic faster than you can imagine (if you live in California anyway). And that is NOT a bad thing either. If you cannot speak with your mom or dad then letting them get hit with a brick would be their own dang fault… they SHOULD be available to you at all times. But if you are depressed enough where you are thinking of suicide you do need to speak to a professional right away.

Bright blessings ~ Richard

If you’re not sure how to start when you tell your friend, how about writing it down in a letter to them? That way, you don’t have to do it face-to-face and it gives you time to organise your thoughts. It worked for me anyway.

CC, yes go to the doctors and explain how you feel, dont hold anything back and you will get the best advice. And come clean with your friends and family, you will be amazed at the compassion you will get
