I want to be skinnier so bad.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not fat at all.
Just average. I find myself looking at my stomach, hating it so much. I also tend to like the way my stomach looks when I suck it in, ya know? The ribs poking out and such.

I’ll fast a lot, but I force it upon myself like I won’t want to but I want to lose weight so at least once a month I’ll stop eating anything with high fat in it and keep a calorie intake to around 300 calories a day.
I don’t have an eating disorder because I force myself to do all this, it just doesn’t happen. I don’t know, is something wrong with me?

Nothing is wrong with you, but you need to be better about taking care of yourself. So you want to be skinnier? Work out and eat the right foods in the right amount. At least take some vitamins. You need calories to run, calories ARE energy. Eat healthy foods and less crap.

Also you probably need to gain some confidence. Average people with confidence > skinny people without it. Personally the rib showing thing is not a turn on at all, its actually more of a turn off, to me.

Lastly fasting wont make you lose weight, it will deprive your body of nutrition and look to your fat to get it. After your fast your body will immediately replenish what it used up to prepare for the next fast. It is not healthy. The only real way to lose weight is exercise and a healthy diet.

As I just said to someone else take Nike’s advice and “just do it.” If you want to be skinnier, it is the only successful way. It wont magically happen or be terribly exciting starting off, but if you “just do it” then it will happen. Good luck.

yea nothin is wrong with you but i want to warn you that what you are doing is not healthy and can lead to something really serious. like lostsocks said, i agree with the whole rib showing thing and a girl being too skinny as a turn off. girls who are average in weight and look healthy are far more attractive. honestly i think its a load of bullsht how some ppl send the message that the ideal woman has a body type that 90% of woman dont have and cant get without doing something drastic. it just leads to women sometimes hating their body. seriously though, i think you should just be happy and i dont think that eating 300 cals a day is joyful to you. i would encourage you to get into a sport or an fitness activity… its healthy, you can look more fit, and actually have fun losing weight depending on what you do. i suggest trying something new, or do somethin that interests you. good luck.

dearie…. ribs sticking out look yukky. please dont go there.
dont fast, dont try to get your bones to show through. if you excercise a NORMAL amount. and eat at least 2000 calories a day, than should be alright ok? dont reduce your calorie intake especially to 300 calories thats tiny.
if you keep going fasting.. there is a chance you will develop an eating disorder. that is a place you DO NOT WANT TO GO.
it ruins peoples lives and trust me it aint worth it. please stick to being healthy, it will make you happier in the long run.

also just because you have to make yourself do the fasting thing doesnt mean u dont have an ED, because people with EDs force themselves to not eat/purge whatever because the motivation of being skinny is so high.
