I sugest you uninstall the one you have on your computer. Then restart your computer, download again from any of the websites here http://www.google.com/search?q=ares+2…

The add on you are talking about is a free download, from any of these websites. Xeno Dragon is asking you what is the opperating system on your computer, ie, windows XP or windows vista etc.

Hmm… XP should work well with Ares. It’s Vista you need to fear, as Ares won’t work at all with it. Which is why I’m currently listening to all my music on Youtube.

Sorry, that comment about ares not working with Vista is total bull.

I have had Vista since it’s release and it has worked just fine… until the last release 2.0.9.3030 at which time, it has trouble connecting or won’t connect at all. The only thing I changed was downloading the new version… installed it… and Ares hasn’t connected since. Uninstalled, restarted, cussed, etc… it still won’t connect.
