Your fiance needs to get a job. There’s no way he can’t find one. If he needs to go out of town to work, so be it. Flipping burgers? Fine. Take it. He needs to get a job. Any job. Now.
Plus you can apply for financial aid.

Okay, let’s talk about your situation. You have some positive things going on. Here is what I see:
An educated young woman. You can read and write, which is not to be taken for granted. That is a great asset.
You have a baby on the way. Having a purpose in life is a great motivation to make your assets count.
The father of your baby has a family that is willing to help you. Even though you do not like them, they are an asset.
The father of your baby has work experience and is willing to work. So many young people think that the world will take care of them, it is an asset to have a man like yours.
Those are just a few things that I can tell by what you wrote. I think that you are going to be fine. Your baby will bring great joy to you. I know this because I was in your situation a long time ago. Looking back to that time, I remember feeling unsure of the future. Now I am a grandmother and my life has been a fantastic adventure.

When my husband and I were pregnant with our first baby (oops!) we had no home and had to live in a fifth wheel in my parent’s driveway. We had given up our home and went into a business venture with my parents and brother that folded. My husband took a job in a pizza parlor in the next city. From that we built ourselves up. You will be ok. But your fiance needs to get a job and not think any of them are beneath him.
Congratulations on your upcoming bundle of joy!

You’ll be okay:) It’s not good for you to worry. Tell the daddy to do all that. He’s a big boy now. Don’t cut him any slack, you are busy taking care of baby and yourself. Stand up for your baby now by letting him figure out the plan. I know it’s harsh, but he needs to show you the money:) You need it for the baby. Baby must eat before him..stick to it girl. You are a Mommy now and if mommy ain’t happy..nobody should be. Take care and get some rest.

I really appreciate the advise. It’s so good to hear others opinions and thoughts. It helps me rest a little bit easier. :)

PS- Just in case anyone is interested. I’m 1 cm dilated today! I’m so excited and I can’t wait to hold my bundle of boy.
