friends help: So, my friend invited me to go to the Carribean with her for spring break. - Help.com

So, my friend invited me to go to the Carribean with her for spring break.

I was excited at the time, but now, I really don’t want to go. I can’t tell her that I just don’t want to go because she was one of my best friends. I want to cancel the plane tickets. My mom paid so how would I go about doing that? I can access her email if neccesary. Once I cancel the plane tickets I think I will be able to say that it’s no problem and maybe I just shouldn’t go. Any suggestions?

Her family doesn’t like me. They think that because I don’t eat a lot of meat, and I don’t eat as much as they do, that I’m weird. They honestly don’t accept me. And she has been weird to me. I know that I would MUCH rather stay home. And she was one of my best friends, for about 2 months. And then we drifted and there is no way that we are ever going to be as close again. She doesn’t like that I have a boyfriend and she won’t even aknowledge me if he is around.
