Positive thinking is good, but its not easy for a lot of us. Good your keeping a chin up.
Even if there is no reason, no grand purpose for what did or didn’t happen, our reaction to what happens is more important than the thing itself.

what’s done is done it’s pointless to look back , we learn, we move on… time is always moving sad or happy time moves , beside to be happy…
sans, thats made me feel better than what anyone else had said so far. it’s true. i think we all need to remember it.

you seem to have a very good hold on ur life..thats awesome..its nice that ur usually optimistic and u seem to balance it out by also admitting that its possible to be down and not at ur best. all i can say is that u are going down the right path with the attitude that u have..it seems very healthy and its good that ur thinking so clearly :) hope ur feeling better soon!
thanks everyone. things have gotten better since i posted this. ups and downs are continuous, but things are falling into place a little more.

Positive thinking is good but it is not a be all and end all.
In my humble opinion it is better to be honest about problems and confront them.
The notion one has to stay positive all the time can hinder ones ability to take action and make the necessary changes in ones life. We often outgrow our jobs and sometimes our friends and need to move on or we stay stuck in places that were right for us at one time but not now.
If you are down, determine the reason.
i agree. there isn’t always reasons so particular sometimes though. it’s weird. but, with my whole optimisitc attitude the one big thing i’ve learned is just that. you can’t fake it, and just say “i’m going to be happy all the time and things will be good.” there are times when life hands me things i’d rather not be handed. but instead of falling into the downwards, i look to my optimistic attitude and know things will get better, and i work towards getting things back on a positive note. simply said.
it’s all personal to each and every person. whatever works for you.
