Do you ever feel like you are a complete dissappointment to your parents?

I really want my parents to be proud of me, as I look at photos of when I was young and they seemed so happy and proud of me, now I feel like they must look at me and wonder how their little girl became the person I am today, and feel utterly dissappointed in the person I am now.

I feel like that all the time, but I try not to dwell on it.
If they think I’m a disappointment, then **** it.. I don’t care what they think.

See that’s where you’re wrong! If you have that attitude you will never find a solution to your problems. You need to actually talk to them and ask them. If they feel like that then tell them to give you some constructive criticism. Parents will surprise you and will actually try to do their best to guide you in the right direction. Erin baby, don’t say f-it. You need to confront that problem.

I recently had an argument with my dad and he told me I wasn’t a nice person to be around, but we used to be really close, now I am barely talking with him as I know he is right.

I really do care what my parents think of me though. They are really good people and I feel like I am letting them down.

You haven’t said why yet. Are you going to? What did you do or not do for you to think that? If you want us to help and actually try to solve the riddle by ourselves at least give us viable clues.

Erin you’re my friend, I’ll do my best so the relationship with your parents does not go on the wayside!
