Terrible.
Absolutely terrible. But don’t worry. It’s gone now. I have it saved in a little text document on my computer. I don’t know why. But I think I should keep it as a reminder.

No. Well, yes and no.
There is no real hidden meaning. It is what it is. That’s what I see as the point of life. To defy life itself. I believe, to achieve death, the moment before you die, you see the true meaning of life. You must understand why it is the way it is too finish it.
It is about the lack of confidence people have when they are doing something they do not believe can be done. I believe, if you really truly believe it, it will happen.
I, myself, am plagued by the doubts bestowed upon me by the common folk. I have been taught that it isn’t possible, so that I cannot leave.
Well, technically, I have been dead before. And that was all that happened. I don’t know how to explain it any better than I have in my little poem up there^ but I did my best…
What do you mean your not thinking? Now you don’t think what?
I really can’t write all too well.
And if you really don’t want to post it here, feel free to send me a shout. :)

When you take off for flight,
throwing yourself high into the air.
You soar across oceans and plains alike.
Nothing is wrong here.
Nothing is right.
If you know you can,
then you can.
Nothing is stopping you.
Then, you realize it’s not.
It can’t be.
People can’t fly.
Why can you?
You fall then,
your flail your arms,
but to no avail.
The ground comes closer and closer.
You close your eyes and hope it’s a dream.
But it’s not.
You sky rocket downward.
Your life flashes before your eyes,
just like it said in the movies.
You begin spinning,
an uncontrollable vortex.
The ground gets closer and closer.
Nothing is there to soften your fall.
And you hit the ground.
The full force of your fall hits you.
You lay there,
Now broken and bloodied.
And you wonder,
“What changed?
I was flying.
I really was.
Then suddenly,
I fell.”
You now lay there,
surrounded by broken wings.
You feel the pain.
But death does not come.
Why?
Why does God make you suffer so long?
Then you realize something.
YOU made yourself fall.
YOU brought yourself down.
You saw that you shouldn’t fly,
so you fell.
You were fooled your whole life,
into believing people don’t fly.
You were taught you fall when you rise.
What goes up must come down.
But that is not true.
May this be a lesson to you.
Do not live life to the rules known by them.
You choose what happens.
And until you realize that,
you will continue to fall.
A smile drifts across your face.
You realize now,
the true meaning of life.
To defy life itself.
You now know how it is you can die.
Knowledge of life,
grants death.
As you slowly allow your eyes to close,
you begin to welcome death.
Then a voice cuts in,
a voice you know.
A voice you love.
They are sad.
They don’t want you to die.
You open your eyes.
You make the strength flood your body.
You stand up.
Your eyes look deep into theirs.
A smile is shared by the two.
Tears fall down your face.
You are covered in dry blood.
Yet, there is not a scratch on you.
Your body remains strong.
Life may now go on.
I don’t know if this is good or not, I can’t judge myself. I actually think it kind of stinks, but oh well.
It’s hot and I’m not thinking totally straight, but this just came out. So yeah, I guess. Let me know what you think. I actually didn’t mean to have this rhyme at all, but I guess there are a few places that do anyway…
