What do guys do when they find out that a girl they really don’t find attractive at all likes them?

I am so scared to even show a hint that I might be interested in a guy because I’m afraid that if he doesn’t like me back he’ll do something mean or at the very least avoid me and never talk to me again. I don’t know why but I have really low self esteem and avoid guys that I actually like because I don’t want to be rejected by them. Honestly I’m not really ugly, but I am painfully shy. So I want to know what I might expect if a guy that didn’t like me (but I didn’t know that) found out that I liked him (not in an annoying stalker like way, just liked). Do I have much to fear or is it worth the risk? Any advice? I’m 18 and I really don’t want to be single forever but I don’t want to be the girl that every guy avoids because he’s afraid she might develop a crush on him or something.

honey you have time. learn more about yourself and learn to love that- you need to love yourself before someone can love you. focus more on having fun doing what you enjoy and what makes you feel like the best you that you are. smile from the inside and boys will see that glow you have from the inside!

If a guy is that superficial then he’s not worth liking anyway. Don’t fret! A guy worth having will like you for your personality. Just have confidence- that is key.
