Help with some gift ideas again.

Okay, this time, I have a longer time limit.

My friend’s birthday is in late September, and I know some of you might think it’s a bit early for me to start worrying about it, but usually, I procrastinate, so I’m starting to worry about it now. So here are some things about my friend that you guys might find helpful:

He’s a guy.
He’s turning 14.
He’s a swimmer. As in, he’s in a swim team.
He skateboards, though not a pro, but not an amateur at all.
He’s not really into school that much, except math (his fave subject) and maybe science.
He cares about his hair a lot (random I know, but I was thinking of getting him hair products).
He’s outgoing in a sense that he’s not afraid to start conversations and meet new people.

And I have a crush on him.

And he knows I do, and has a crush on me too. And he knows that I know. We’re open with that.

We’re not dating, but please don’t ask about it because it’s hard to explain. It’s a whole other story.

And I don’t know what to get him with a budget like mine.

And no, I’m not just getting a gift for him because I like him, we were friends before the whole crush thing started and already celebrated each other’s birthday before. Just this year, I have no clue what to get him.

Some help would be greatly appreciated!

So if anybody out there can help me find a cheapish, nice enough gift it would be greatly appreciated.

No, not a gamer.

Although he also likes to make videos of himself skateboarding and posting them on youtube.

He’s not a very technical/computer person.

to cgstudent0: lol I get it. Well, idk, because I’m trying to think if he’d appreciate me getting him some pads and a helmet because he always falls and messes something up. (He’s broken four body parts in two years) But he never wears them, so idk if he’d want them. And as for hair products, he has longish hair, and all I can think about buying for him is shampoo and conditioner, and those are pretty everyday things…

to Debrad1207: What would be in the gift basket though?

yeah and as you go along just put everything you find into the basket. it makes it look like you put a lot of thought into it and it gives it your own personal touch

Haha, I would get him shoes or even a skateboard if I had more money and wasn’t afraid to spend it. A pair of skater shoes already costs about seventy five bucks, maybe more, and a skateboard… haha, way more than that. Besides, he already has eight. I don’t think he needs another one, lol

My limit is twenty five bucks. I try not to spend too much on gifts, especially if they’re impersonal. But sadly, my friend is kind of materialistic.
