I’M A RECENT CANCER SURVIVOR AND I NEED HELP!

!!. I’m a 41 year old single woman, with no family. I couldn’t work for over a year. I HAD TO CANCEL MY MEDICAL INSURANCE and can’t afford any more the rent. Now I feel better and trying to get back to normal life, but I’m still limited because of my physical condition. I would appreciate if a good heart person, with an empty guest-house in the (818) area in Los Angeles, will let me live there for about a year, until I get back on my feets. I’m very quiet, no drugs, no alcohol, no parties and hard worker. If you have at least an idea where can I post this request, that I’ll have more chances to get help, I’ll appreciate that so much.

Have you considered taking on light housekeeping duties - seriously there are jobs where all you are doing is arranging the flowers but you get a guest house to stay in. That way you would have the chance to regain your insurance and also save some money for whatever you plan to do next.

I could go on for days about this.

You could be a companion to an old person - very rewarding actually.
A house-sitter - you register with an agency and they basically send you to watch other people’s houses.
Companion for a young disabled person is normally a lot of fun too.

None of those jobs expend much of your energy but they would be giving you what you need - a roof over your head and medical insurance.

Let us know how you get on - Mas
