I need help with the Wii internet, I have an ISP(Internet

Service Provider) that isn’t compatible with the wii, is there anything I can do about it other then swtiching IPSs??

I have a wireless router
could I connect my wireless router to the wii directly, since the current problem is the firewall of my ISP so would the problem of the firewall become obsolete if I connect the Wii directly to the router??
