Love help: I need some dating ideas. - Help.com

My most memorable was when my date went through the trouble of finding out one of my favorite bands was coming into town- it was 12 bucks to get in, and then he bought me a t-shirt. That’s one of my favorite dates, and if this girl’s a real music lover, there’s an idea.

I also remember when I went out with this one boy- he was totally broke. Most of the time, we went over to his house, and he’d man-up and rent a sappy movie if I was in the mood for one (he even watched Brokeback Mountain with me) and then he’d rent horror movies when I was in the mood for those. He made popcorn and he bought coke, those were always fun, too.

So concert, movie nights- those are always good, inexpensive options.

My most memorable hours spent with a potential love as always been a result of a spontaneous situation. Getting a ride home from something, spending 3 hours in the car, talking about everything. Relaxed talk, throw in a few childhood stupid stories, and a couple of “someday i hope”’s, dont forget your artistic images… in 11th grade, I actually drove my pal(in my red mustang, lol) home from where we both had a summer job, and we talked and like forever into the discussion, we wernt even talking. we were looking at the prettily lit buildings kinda in the distance. There was one in particular that had a unique shape, and he said “Every night I look at that building and see it as a ship docking in the harbor” I wont ever forget that.

A romantic date! I love those! They are so sweet and memorable. Mine was walking on the beach at sunset after dinner at a seafood reserant. We kissed while the sun was going down. Aww…. memories. Be sweet! Make it a little complexed, the art of surprise is wonderful, expecially when you find out the ending and start blushing! good times….

We went to a store called dollar tree. We got alot of cheap stupid toys (GIANT sunglasses, a faerie wand, a bubble blower, etc. Then we went to walmart and bought two disposable cameras. Then we went to her house and got a bunch of random clothes.

We took the wildest pictures that day, but, they were fun. We had alot of fun.

Dates aren’t about what you do together, but about enjoying each other.

The best meal we ever had was at taco bell.
