Nah, women reallt shouldn’t put provocative pics of themselves on social networking sites, especially girls that are still in college, and she should not be surprised at all to get comments like that.

Well yeah - someone posting a pic of themselves in a bikini should be able to deal with a few comments of that nature…. On the other hand if someone was bugging them loads or totaly stepping over the line then they’d have a point - and that would be wrong. But just commenting that they are good looking seems perfectly harmless to me.

How old are these girls posting pics of themselves in bikinis? There should really be monitoring on these sites removing pics like these

Well I always felt that calling a girl frikken hot or pointing out the obvious things that most guys gawk over always was just inappropriate and treating them like meat or something. Whenever I think an appropriate comment to a girl who is attractive would be just to say something along the lines that they’re really beautiful or they’re pretty or look really nice or something. Telling them they’re sexy is sort of in the middle of the two because it’s all in how you say it in my opinion.

Haha I wouldn’t say it would be at all. It might just be in all how she takes it or what you were looking at I guess. It seems if you said that you would just be messing with her and everything so I don’t think there would be anything serious about it.

i see wrong on both sides. you are wrong in assuming she wants comments like that. no matter what type of pictures she has in her profile. some people are just self absorbed and narcissistic and compliments are just a way of inflating their egos by dragging the compliment out with a complaint. i work in an office everyday and there are “hot” women that come to work that wear less clothes than some women at the beach. if you can call 3 band aids an outfit. you get the point. let this be a lesson in composure and social etiquette. saying, i like the picture you posted would have been more appropriate considering your ages.
she was wrong in blowing the situation out of proportion by calling you a pervert. this just shows her level of immaturity. i am sure if one of her favorite actors, singers or whatever happened to pop by and leave a message like that, that would have no problem with it and may even welcome it.
just wait until you become an adult and heaven forbid you have to experience the adult version of this scenario. it is a lot nastier than just calling a guy a pervert. take care.
