I want to go to this prep school
But it’s to expensive
Its like 14,000 and plus 500-800 in books …. And I cant go unfortunately because my family never done anything with them self’s therefore they don’t have the money too ….and I hate them for that …
I know its very egotistical of me ..
But I cant wait to move and go to college and make a name for myself and become a someone and start a family and give them everything I never had …..
I’m tired of my family they are such losers who don’t have anything but they say they are happy what they have and don’t need more …but not for me I’m want more I need more…. …
http://www.woodlandsprep.org/index.html ….thats the school I wanted to go to
……its not really a problem…..just a rant i guess

I know that there are outside scholarships that you could apply for that maybe the school would take. I don’t know, you’d have to ask if they would take the scholarship money. I’m looking for some scholarships for you right now, so brb.
Wow.
It makes me sad how you look down on your parents just because they don’t worship the almighty dollar.
They’re happy, isn’t that all any of us want?

Most scholarships I found were for HS kids going to college, but these should be for just HS students period. If you look, I hope you find something. If not, wish you all the best.

I can understand where he’s coming from. I got stuck with a guardian (my brother) who never made anything of his life and therefore had nothing to give me to help me further myself. When you’re trying to further yourself, not having that help is hard. Just saying…

Yeah but he said he “hates” his parents for it. That seems harsh.
Yeah, it does I guess. But I don’t know the entire story of his situation based on his post, so I can empathize based on what’s here, but whether that’s harsh or not, I don’t know.
egotistical? nah. ungrateful? just a bit. a kid whose parents left them home alone while they went out and smoked crack might have a reason to hate their parents. a kid who is malnourished and has to beg for food from the neighbors because dad spends all the money on booze and hookers, they would have a good reason to hate their parents. a kid who hates his parents for not being rich enough to send him to an exclusive prep school? I don’t even know you or your parents and felt sorry for them after reading that.
life isn’t easy. it’s easy to talk about making something with one’s life and I wish everyone who tries all the best, but the fact of the matter is that sometimes you have to learn to be happy with what you have. not everyone can be a millionaire and money and exclusive schools do not guarantee happiness or success.
unless your parents beat you or do other horrible things, be happy you have them because there are thousands of other children who would be thrilled to have what you take for granted.
Wow thats really sad.
I admire you for striving higher than they did :)
thats awesome
but you should also be grateful that you have a family because they have your back no matter what
I mad at them because they never done anything with themselves, they had their chance to go to college and make something of themselves but instead they chose to do nothing take the easy route…..they have no extra money for anything….for my future, but yet they could give half of it away to member of my family that wants to go to vacation …pathetic…..they have no money to support them selves when they can no longer work …they can hardly pay the bills on time….they have no future, …..they have no money saved for it,
they have no clue how to mange money ….
what if something happend to them or me or my siblings, they wouldnt have the money to do anything
That is really rough. But really its cool that you realize what they did and you want something different.
You have realized what their mistakes were. Obviously someone has taught you right. There are ways for you to get in college or any other kind of school even if your parents can’t afford it. You just have to show that you are interested and what you will bring to the new school.
Good luck…

This is also really true….but you have your rights too..
Do whatever you can, mow freakin’ lawns, walk dogs, wash windows- there’s ALWAYS a way to make money.

Scholorship? try that…or there’s a program called Seeds which requires you to do a certain amount of work and then you get a scholorship
why do you want to go to this school? is there something special? maybe you could find a better school somewhere else?
