Naive or nice?

I was dropping off a friend at 2:30 in the morning (clean fun, don’t worry about it) and we came across someone with a flat, besides the fact that I was out pretty late, my mom also thought it was naive to help them change their tire. My bro thought it was nice, and another friend of mine thought it was dangerous as well…

What do you think?

I would have to say that was very very nice of you. Yet it could have put you in a very dangerous situation. I am sure the person you helped was surprised and happy for the assistance.
Nice work but do be careful.

I guess it would depend on how experience you astually have in changing tires. If you have none, there is little point in getting their hopes up or risking yourself. As for the risk in general, it would of course depend on the country, city and neighbourhood. But if it was me, I’d be asking myself ‘if people think it is too risky to help people having a flat tire at night, thiefs and robbers know this too. So why would they bother getting out at night, getting the air out of a tire so as to look convincing and run the risk of the cops coming up to help, if nobody will dare to stop? No rational criminal would do that and irrational criminals are out doing more wild kinds of crime that take less preparation. So odds are this guy here is genuine’

astually? actually of course… I guess the fact that morning is starting here doesn’t make me any more awake.

Sounds like a pretty busy neighbourhood at such a time of the night. With that many people around some amount of safety should be assured unless they are all in crime as well. And you’d know it if the neighbourhood had such a reputation.

I think you did a very nice thing, doesn’t seem that dangerous, just exercise caution.

it`s all about how you felt about it..
if you felt good after you helped the person, then you did a good deed, no need to look further..
if you felt scared or nervous, as to you were out late, and it was a stranger,
then you were probably being naive..
what you do in life is about WHAT you FEEL..

all i can do is laugh
but really, killing someone is a sin.
but trust me, killers are killers for a reason,
yea, maybe in just about everyone1s lifetime they have FELT like killing someone, but did they no, because they realized they FELT different about it, and couldn`t do it..
