the best car for gas milage would be an electric car that runs on li-ion batteries. but those are expensive…..

you can’t help the drivers, they’re bad everywhere. you only feel safer in a car, despite the airbags, i dont think you’re much safer. you’re in just as much risk of getting in an accident..

i dont know about the insurance. but as much as you drive and as high as gas prices are, its got to be cheaper to get a moped in the long run because they are cheaper than cars and use less gas..

I have a dodge stealth 3.0 v6 DOHC (basically a sweet *** car :D ) and I’ve fixed it up so I get 25 miles to the gallon, that’s not great for today’s gas prices, but it’s still great for a sports car. Basically what I’m saying is, get anything (smaller the engine better the gas to some degree) then fix it up if you know how or get someone to, and you can get good gas mileage out of it.

get a v4 5spd, they get great gas mileage

also my friend has a Dodge Neon, it gets amazing gas milage

You can either have a sports car or you can get good gas mileage. Of the cars on the road that get over 30 mpg, none of them are sports cars. Not one. The 2008 Mustang GT gets 26 mpg on the highway.

You want to save money on gas, you’re gonna have to get something like a Toyota Corolla.

Or, if you really want to save on gas, you could look through the ads for a 1994 Geo Metro LSI. They got 50 mpg on the highway and 43 in town, under today’s EPA mileage recalculation. A Metro LSI is worth about $1000, but they become more valuable the higher gas prices go. A Jeep? Please. Jeeps top out around 22 mpg. There are NO SUVs on the market that approach 30 mpg.

Rethink what you’re looking for.
