If your computer hangs or reboots while you are working on it , it could be a problem with device drivers , hardware or software . This problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . Detailed instructions at http://tinyurl.com/yk5zpr

Yeah, I agree with neku. Trying booting into the safe mode menu screen (tap (or hold) the F8 key while it’s booting up) and then try “Last Known Good Configuration” first. If that doesn’t work, select “Safe Mode with Networking” and then it should work (if the problem is with the video card drivers). If that works, since your network connection should be enabled try going back to your video card vendor’s site and try a different driver.

hey i have the same problem my philips 190s show “no video input” just after xp load screen. the comp is not rebooting or turning off. It continues as normal ie. makes the xp log on sound. and also when i stick my old CRT on it works absolutely fine. after trying to fix this problem for a few days i’ve reached a dead end. I even tried a completely new installation with no posotive results. it must be something to do with the ati drivers as it only happens once they are installed. So remember this now, LCD will not display…. CRT will. Tried all proper resolutions and refresh rates for the LCD and (monitor)Drivers. The card seems to work fine without its own proper drivers. but i dont consider this a solution as i probably wont be able to run anything without proper drivers. also CRT permanantly is not an option.

PS glad to see i’m not the only one. :)

My PC is an Intel E6700 C2D, Gigabyte DS3, Sapphire x1950 pro 256, 2GB geil 6400 ddr2. and using a Seagate 40gb drive for now.

^adjust your refresh rate down to 60Hertz and it should be compatible with all monitors.
