I thought it was amazing, and I read that comic too. Heath Ledger did such a good job as the joker. Some of the hand held camera work got on my nerves, but a few parts of the cinematography was absolutely breath taking. That picture as your avatar being on of them, another I found really cool was the part where Lt. Gordon is interrogating the Joker, and there’s no light behind him, so he looks just like a floating head. I could go on and on but I’ll stop here :P
im so lookin forward to seeing it, :D
Yeah I want to see it again, I heard that it was supposed to be a trilogy but now they obviously cant make another one I’m pissed. Heath did an awesome job, the directors gave him full control on how he wanted the joker to look and act, and I guess he went crazy locked inside a hotel room for a month doing nothing but watching slasher movies and practicing his role. I would say my favorite seen was when he was trying to blow up the hospital and when he burned the stack of money. Did you see the preview for the new Terminator.
i heard johnny depp is taking ledgers place.
What, where did you here that? I mean at the end obviouslly the Joker is still alive, He has to die, and it leaves everything wide open for another one, But will a diffrent actor be able to pull it off? Well Im going to see it again this weekend. And Red-Sky you should be a movie critic.
I wasn’t as excited going into the movie as everyone else, but I kind of already knew it was going to be massive. The trailer alone and glimpse of Heath Ledger’s performance was enough reassurance. The movie just blew my mind, and the Joker just stole the show, I think. I still can’t get it off my mind, the psychology behind the characters, especially the Joker, of course, exactly a week after seeing it. (I saw an earlier screening. Friend won tickets from real scavenger hunt from the Why So Serious website). It’s driving me a little crazy.
And I highly doubt they’ll get another person for the Joker. People will riot, haha. Very dramatic, but there’s no point in even trying to top that performance. But I think Sheroo meant Johnny Depp’s gonna take Ledger’s part in the other movie he was working on. I heard a few people are going to have the role and that they’re all gonna try to act the part the way they think Ledger would have acted it.
*DARK KNIGHT SPOILER ALERT*
My favorite moment was when the Joker’s hanging out of the cop car, shaking his head like an animal, and then the world gets all quiet. It was just overwhelming for me for some reason.
Aw thanks Caesar! Perhaps your new suggestion will set me upon a new career path to look into during college!
And yes I’m most definitely going to go see it again.
Yeah I agree as he puts his head out of the cop car once he gets out of jail the sound and feeling of that scene makes me feel like im on drugs. What other movie was Heath gonna be in?
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
It says on IMDB.com that the part will be played by Colin Farrell and Jude Law as well as Depp. Don’t really know how I feel about that. =\
The best movie ive seen in a long time i could watch that film again and agian and still not get board of it. The joker is probably just one of the reasons why people want to go back and see it again but it was an ausome film definatly! and i agree with you medic!! that was one of my favs scene aswell
