Sorry to hear that, my fiance’s mom also refused to go to hospital because of her heart. We tried talking nicely to her, had plenty of fights and were even nasty but nothing helped. We then called her twin brother who went to fetch her and took her to the hospital where her heart actually stopped and she was revived again.

Today she’s fine again but because she didn’t go sooner when we asked her to, she is worse off now because she delayed it.

Maybe you wife is scared to go to the hospital, fear is an ugly thing and in your wifes situation she will have to face it sooner or later and if she doesn’t do it now then she may regret why she didn’t go sooner. You will have to give her a LOT of support and be very patient.

She’s scared. You must get a professional to talk to her. But for God’s sake, do NOT let some bozo show her a video of the procedure. Those videos leave people absolutely terrified! Good luck! We’ll pray for you!
