OK, so I really like this guy and he flirts with me a lot.

But I recently learned he is dating one of my friends while he is flirting with me. I talked to him about it and now he isn’t talking to me at all! Help me I really like him. My mom says that if he is doing that to his girlfriend now then if i go out with him he might do that to me. but he is like the sweetest guy he is SO geeky, but thats why i like him so much. and i am so confused!!! help me!

Yeah maybe he didn’t realize his flirting was something that could compromise his relationship with the other girl. And now he’s realized that and is afraid to talk to you at all. Which doesn’t make him a bad guy.
He just doesn’t want to jeopardize the relationship he already has so he’s chosen to stay away until he can handle himself in a less-firtatious manner.

Sorry to agree with your mom but if he’s doing it now he will sure do the same with you. It turns into a habbit and maybe he’s just trying to be nice by flirting!
