Single mom–Disabled–USMC Veteran.

Is there anyone out there that can help with my mortgage and student loans? I have been a single mom since 1996. I was a computer programmer. I became disabled after falling from the roof after hurricane Charlie. I ended up having brain surgery (10/28/04), nine bulging discs, nerve damage in my back and leading to the kidneys, headaches, balance issues, chronic pain, and fibromyalgia. I was also diagnosed with Arnold Chiari Malformation of the Brain Type I at that time. My social security is $1032 a month and my mortgage is $700 monthly. My mortgage balance is $75,000. To say things are tight would be an understatment. I also have $32000 in student loans. If you can help or you know someone who can, please let me know. Thank you and God Bless You.

Sorry to bother you. I’ll delete my account. I took the “help.com” literally.

You can apply for freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription, online tuition or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well . List of companies(with websites) offering genuine work at home jobs is available at http://www.pcworkathome.net . Many of these companies have been in business for several years

You can also try your luck at online charities like Digital Charity, people may send donations if your story is convincing enough. More information at http://www.laodn.org/

if you are on disability from social security you can get a loan discharge application and have your doctor fill it out then you can be excused from your student loan that will help with that

Depending on what state you live in there are County Veterans Service Officers that can help with financial assistance, only a few times a year. It seems that you need to file a claim for non-service connected pension with Aid and Attendance through the Dept of Veterans Affairs. http://www.vba.va.gov/bln/21/pension/…. I hope this helps
