Let me know what you hear back. I’m recovering from a broken left ankle and leg from April 16th of this year. Two casts and months of suffering now I need to have surgery. Exercise has been a real challenge with no weight-bearing. Currently on crutches and wheelchair. I look forward to seeing the replies.

I was born with a dislocated hip and had to have surgery in 6th grade. The doctors told me i can never do anything thats too traumatizing to my hip. Even though i still do things i know its not good.

Anyway, swimming is really good so is yoga and pilates. The eliptical or bike. But the best thing would be water aerobics

Oh i didnt know your foot couldnt sweat. Well then i really dont know what to tell you because you really do any exercise with out sweating. Maybe eat fewer calories to reduce your chance of gaining a lot of weight

I had foot surgery for a bunion. My doctor was strict. I had to lay on the couch for 2 weeks while the toe healed. I took extra calcium. these delicious chocolate chews with vitaman k and d and 1000 mil of calcium every day. I bought them at wal mart. It helped me heal sooooo fast.It takes 10 weeks I did it in 6. I was afraid I would gain weight too. I had lost 38 pounds prior on Jenny craig. He did not want me to do exercise that would make me sweat the first two weeks. I ate 1200 calories a day. Sometimes less. I have bad knees / I did exercise with weights while sitting. I did twists on the couch holding weights and also leg lifts. I did slow squats with crutches too as i felt better. I continued to loose weight. I was careful. I lost 1 to 2 pounds a week. You can do it.
