I’m a 26 year old female, I have devised my first business plan..

now all i need is the financial backing. To be honest I’m frightened, but I can’t bring myself to work in another ‘job’. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, and expecting different results.. I refuse to be insane any longer! If anyone can help, or has any idea’s on how i can raise $20,000, I’d be forever grateful.

You need to find an angle investor, search the internet for firms that invest in start up companies. Be prepared to give a lot of your self and your business away to these people, they will expect a lot.

Don’t get scammed by people who say they are investors by simply want to give you a lone. A lone that you need to pay back even if your business fails. An investor takes on the risk of a failed business.

There are resources for women starting business locally. One of them in my area is called Women venture. You can google them. They may be able to lead you to resources in your area.

I don’t think you are ready mentally or otherwise to any kind of business if you write what you wrote here. If you don’t have any money to start with, you have no idea where to and how to get it and you are in this state of mind, you are not ready, no matter what anyone says. Be very careful with wolves in sheep clothing especially in an economic state as we are in. It is not enough to just start a business in your head without any resources backing up and you are asking here help from people when in fact you should be consulting with business people. It is definitely not enough to dream up something without any fundation. I think you should start with learning in a community school what to do instead of asking here help. Be very careful and take care of yourself first. The state of mind you are in right now is the worst enemy of any kind of business and also keep in mind that people will fail 90% of the time who are not ready.
