We’ve had a pool for the 9 years that we have lived in this house and have never had it turn green.
We havent done anything different in our upkeep of the pool. But it turned green awhile back. We took a sample to Leslies and they told us that the acid level was very high. This meant that shocking the pool wouldnt help until we got the pH level under control. They told us to buy soda ash. but it didnt work. We spent over 50 bucks and ended up having to just drain the pool and start all over. well three days ago our pool was crystal clear and now its very green. AGAIN! We clean the pool daily and shock the pool regulary. We have backwashed the filter and all those things that people say to do normally. We cant afford to waste money again if its not going to work. What should we do?
