one of my friends is in hospital for an overdose, she

took about 40 ibuprofen painkillers and a few codiene, I’m scared - is this enough to kill someone? She’s 20 and medium build. Do you think it ws a cry for attention / help or an intentional suicide?

Well, I usually think when a person takes pills
they’re just crying for help or attention.
I mean if you really wanted to die you would make it work!
I don’t know your friend though.

I knew somebody that took 55 pills and they lived,
but they were brought to the hospital right away.

i dont know but just be there for her if you can ask the docs find out if shes gonna be ok. when she gets better ask her how is she feeling. and find out what she was tring to do my taking the pills
