Where were you?

I thought about becoming a detective once, but you need to make good decisions and thats something im not too good at.
Of course this is not a bad idea. What you want to do when your older is your choice. If I had to suggest something you could do to help the world. You could become a enviormentalist, therapist, start your own charity. What you could do to accomplish this dream is do something now that is small, but it is helping the world in some small contribution. Then you can work your way up.
There are many ways to be a hero. Are you a parent? If so you are likely already a hero. If not… then volunteer some time or clothes or toys to the less fortunate. That makes you a hero. Small things to some a BIG things to others.
What about fire personel. They run into a burning buildings to save complete strangers. HEROS
To answer your questions, 1. It does not sound wrong in any way because it is not wrong 2. I believe there are an unlimited number of ways to accomplish this. Explore your passions, dreams, interests, gifts, talents, likes. Brainstorm with as many people as possible and KNOW there is a way. Eventually you’ll know what direction and can begin working towards it. While you are figuring it out you can do simple things every day, even multiple times daily, to help others. Keep in mind one of the best things you can do is offer hope to others.
I know you can do this. Believe, know, and have faith.
off topic; I’m glad you posted your dream because I was beginning to lose hope in people. I take back that last sentence. I slowly began to lose hope a long while ago. Finally it took it’s toll on me and just this week I actually did lose all hope, which coupled with a couple other things on my mind, has created profound depression in a person who does not get depressed.
I feel like a zombie

Traveling and helping people is a fine idea just don’t think it will make the world a better place. It’s a futile effort. Try all you want but you will never stop the atrocities mankind continues to do each other on daily basis all by yourself.

Mabe I can’t stop it all, but that dosen’t mean that I can’t tone it down a bit, whats to stop me from trying?
Watch the new Rambo movie and you will see what I mean. That is going on for real, how do plan to tone that down a bit. Are you a one man fighting force with elite military training with a heart of gold. If so, you would not be sitting at your computer right now typing out how you would help people. Actions speak louder than words.
like I told that other guy, I stopped watching movies along time ago and I completely understand that the world is the mirror opposite than what happend on tv.
I never said I was going to go around the world and defeat every villain on earth, thats what it sounds like your trying to say what I mean.
Who said anything about getting a army anyway, I said I was going to go help as many people as I can as I travel the world. And you talk as if I can do something like this overnight, come on. Something like this takes planning which is exactly what I do when im not online trying to help people like you. My actions will come when I get a proper basis for what I am doing, all work in process.
Also, if I fail in one way, i’ll just find another way to help people.
Now that I think about it, I really don’t like the idea of continuing to help people just to walk away. Travel to just help and then leave when help is not needed?
like some wandering sage that doesn’t want to have any attachments to this world.
So you would help people just to get something like money in return, man, that’s just selfish.
no, i’m into making lasting relationships. lifelong bonds not throw away acquaintances
You know you don’t have to stop talking to everyone that you help, if anything thats how you make friends.
helping can be very robotic. I’ve done my share of help and didn’t feel any better for it, didn’t make any friends and will never see the people I supposedly helped again.
Your not suppose to expect people to give you anything, all those who help from their heart will be rewarded in some way, may not be what you expected but will assist and improve your life.

This is what I want to do in life!!
I know this may sound stupit to most people, but since I was a kid my biggest dream in life is that I become a hero in some sort. To travel the world and help people in need and to do what I can to make the world a better place. Tell me, does this sound wrong and if not, do you think that there is a way to help accomplish this dream?
