I think I’m giving you much more then money!

I’m giving you knowledge! How many things I teach you… and this is your way of saying “thanks”.
To be honest with you, you are not that good that I need to pay you. I have plenty assistants for free, that help me to get the opportunity to see how I work.
I also have one of my friends, who is also a successful photographer helping me - you met him - Mark. and we help each other with no pay - simply help!!!
I also offered you my help in your wedding! I did not ask you to pay me?!?! I offered it - to HELP you! think about it, people pay me over $4000 for me taking photos at their wedding, and I offered my time and knowledge for you without asking anything in return! I showed you so many things, without asking for anything!
If money is all you want, then I’ll note that, and when I’ll need an assistant for pay I’ll contact you.

All I asked was to be paid. I don’t think it is too outrageous now is it?

Depends on the situation and arrangement whether it was out of line for you to ask to be paid.

Well you were shooting them for him. And it was his props? I don’t know what you were photographing, but you said you were shooting them “for him”.
Why did you agree to work for him for no pay?

I thought I would be able to use photos for my own portfolio and he said I would be able to, but I ended up his slave and he lied about the agreement. was using my own equipment in shooting a 10 hour photoshoot of a couple.
